This ring made me realize, once again, how much of what surrounds us shapes who we are. It becomes part of how we see, how we think, and eventually, what we create.
A friend once gave me a beautiful anthurium flower. I placed it on our dining table in a one-stem vase. It lasted almost a month, and my eyes kept finding their way back to it, over and over again. While hanging the laundry, drinking a glass of water, having breakfast… I never sat down to study it. I simply lived with it.
One day, I sat down to make a ring with no design plan. Only when it was almost finished did I realize the anthurium had found its way into my hands.
This ring is unique and entirely hand-carved from porcelain, featuring a glossy white finish and 24k gold accents.
